After teasing the new project for over a year, Jennifer Lopez is finally releasing her first album in 10 years next month — and the multi-hyphenate is pulling out all the stops. Earlier this week, Lopez dropped the first single off the album, “Can’t Get Enough,” along with a high-production music video, and now she’s giving her fans a sneak peek at the stunning vinyl covers for This Is Me…Now, out Feb. 16.
On Thursday, Lopez dropped six exclusive cover photos, lensed by famed photographer Norman Jean Roy, for the This Is Me…Now vinyl. In the first shot, Lopez looks glammed to the gods with voluminous wind-swept curls, a bronzed complexion, and a very sultry velvet little black dress that featured a squiggly plunging neckline that nearly reached her belly button.
The singer accessorized with a gold bolo-style necklace and nothing else. In the second slide, Lopez wears a black strapless top (or dress — it’s unclear in the photo) adorned with a red rosette detail on her chest. Her body is positioned to one side, though her face is turned to the camera, and she gently touches the floral appliqué with one of her hands. The following image captures Lopez in a red floral naked dress.
The other slides feature more sexy shots of the multi-hyphenate wearing the same looks.” ThisIsMeNow exclusive vinyl covers ✨,” she captioned the post. “#linkinbio to pre-order! 📸 @normanjeanroy.”
The aforementioned single “Can’t Get Enough” dropped on Wednesday with a music video that captured Lopez at three different fictional weddings while guests placed bets on which marriage would last. Lopez wore a heart cut-out gown and a sculptural taffeta minidress while dancing with her three grooms, one of whom included Emmy-winning dancer and choreographer Derek Hough.
During a YouTube live, the multi-hyphenate revealed why she chose “Can’t Get Enough” as the first single off her highly-anticipated upcoming album. "I love a love song, but I need something — and I kept saying this to them — that I can perform," she said, according to People. "So, when we first heard this song, everyone just knew that this was the one to launch This Is Me … Now."
She added, "It has an energy, it has a happiness to it, and you feel it all."
She also posted a funny video on Thursday promoting the single alongside songwriters and producers Angel Lopez, Jeff Gitty Gitelman, INK, Rogét Chahayed, and her longtime vocal coach Stevie Mackey.
“When the whole squad gets together … #CantGetEnough #ThisIsMeNow,” she captioned the clip.
